The MG Full Saber Qan[T] is a kit i tried to copy some of the modding work Grework magazine a few years ago, but only just recently got around to finishing the kit! I was very pleased with the result and I learned a lot from the experience which pushed me to use a lot of more intermediate modding techniques.

Build Details

PROS:

• Lots of different modes you can work with using the full saber and Qan[T] saber
• classic design that looks great (imo better than 00 raiser)
• Several options/forms for how you can pose the kit

CONS:

• Kit becomes a a bit unbalanced with the full saber addon
• Wrists have trouble supporting the weight of the full saber

Paints Used:

• Blue: 80% Gaia Colbalt blue+10% flourescent pink. Added a bit more gaia ultra blue after mixing
• lighter blue: 80% Gaia Colbalt blue+10% flourescent pink+ 10%white.
• Yellow: Base coat of Orange, then 60% Orange Yellow + 40% Yellow with drops of white added for highlight
• White: mr surfacer 1200 then gloss white
• Grey-white: 90% white+10% joint grey
• Red: 60% Gaia Bright red + 40% Florescent Red
• Grey: Neutral Grey III
• Dark Grey: Neutral grey IV + some Neutral Gray III
• GN Saber green: Black base coat followed by Mr Crystal color Tourmaline green
